Arе tһеrе аחу really decent spots fοr a girl tο ɡеt a tattoo? I’m probably being picky bυt I саח′t tһіחk οf аחу tһаt аrе tοο appealing (аחԁ yes уου сουƖԁ ѕау, “Tһеח јυѕt don’t ɡеt a tattoo” bυt I’m still aiming fοr іt regardless).
I wаѕ thinking аbουt getting a shamrock design οח mу lower back (tramp stamp, I know) οr јυѕt above mу bikini line. Bυt іf I ɡο wіtһ tһе first supposedly I’m automatically trashy аחԁ іf I сһοοѕе tһе second I’m afraid іt’ll stretch out аחԁ become disfigured over tһе years — I’m חοt beyond gaining weight οr pregnancy іח tһе long rυח. I tһουɡһt аbουt tһе inside οf mу wrist (wουƖԁ tһаt һυrt a lot?) οr аѕ a tattooed οח bracelet. I wouldn’t want іt οח tһе outside οf mу ankle οr anywhere οח mу legs οr chest. Tһе back οf tһе neck seems pointless tοο, I don’t wear mу hair up tһаt high. I wаѕ аƖѕο considering tһе bracelet effect οח mу upper arm, bυt tһаt wουƖԁ bе difficult tο cover. Aחу іԁеаѕ wһаt I ѕһουƖԁ ɡο wіtһ? Thanks!

Friend of mine has a star between her thumb and index finger. In the “V” area I’ll call it. If you do want it on you lower back get it off the one side. Another friend of mine has hers there and its a pretty wicked location. If you’ve got It flaunt it. That’s my motto.
I’m not against tattooing but i will always remember something that my father (who has tattoos) said when I was a teenager.
He said that if I ever wanted a tattoo, to wait twenty years and if i still wanted it, to get it then because I would have to live with it for my whole life. Needless to say, he regretted some of the tattoos that he had done when he was younger.
There have been several times in my life when I wanted to get a tattoo – I even went as far as designing the tattoos that I wanted – but I always remembered by father’s advice, so I waited.
Twenty years later, I wasn’t really that interested in getting any of the tattoos that I wanted when i was younger and I can’t say that I miss not having them.
I’ve always thought that the back of the shoulder is a nice place for a tattoo, though.
I’d say the small of you back would be ideal
What about your foot/ankle?
hide it with shoes
and show it off with certain heels, ballet flats, flip flops, and sandals
if i got a tattoo, it’d be between the shoulder blades, or behind the shoulder (e.g; bird feet on the back of the shoulder can be really cute, but you can also hide it if you need to).
it also depends what amount of mystery you want associated with your tat, and what body part you want to draw attention to?
I think the backs a nice place. I’m getting one on my lower back (off to the right though) on friday.
Thats the thing with being a girl, we have pregnancy to think of!
try like your wrist, or your side right below your ribs (tattoos on your ribs hurts like hell)
i saw someone with a small tattoo on the left side of their chest but fairly high up, near the collarbone- it didn’t look trashy.

If you’re afraid of what’ll happen if you gain weight/have a child/etc and are looking for a place where you’d be able to cover it up for work and such, I’d recommend right underneath the shoulder blade. You’ll be able to show it off in tank tops but it’ll be covered otherwise. Just be aware that if you’re doing something on a bone or an area that has a lot of nerve endings (the back of the neck, sacrum (AKA the tramp stamp place), or ribs) it’ll hurt a LOT.
Inside your anal cavity would be the best place to make sure
it is not readily visible.
Don’t put it anywhere that you can’t cover it. Tattoos can be a problem for some jobs.
I have one on my tummy, but off to the side by my hip. It’s survived weight gain and pregnancy and still looks fine.
I have a shamrock on my wrist and love it…keep in mind that it is a relatively difficult place to heal tho. If you go for the small of your back (by the way screw the people that refer to it as a tramp stamp its your body) I would suggest centered as you really want (and yoru artist will too) to go for soemthing with asmuch symetry as possible.
I got a tattoo of a rose an butterfly on my right forearm I really like it there I also don’t think having a tattooo on your lower back is a tramp stamp. That is so stupid. I see a lot of girls with them on there backs I am even gonna get one on there in the next couple of weeks. I don’t care what people think about that. And neither should anyone else. Don’t listen to what people say it looks awesome to have one there don’t pay anyone no mind of what they think or say. My husband for 14 years even agrees they look cool there no different than when girls put them on there breasts now that’s a tramp stamp for sure. Get that shamrock tattoo put on your back we both think that would look awesome. Let me know what u decide. Good Luck in whatever u decide to put one at.
